Neighbors and friends, strangers and lovers, children and dogs, we all stomp the ever-loving crap out of a beautiful but invasive species known as the spotted lanternfly. Their mutilated corpses have become a symbol of purpose, shared responsibility, and perhaps futility. But we will never surrender.
